Very annoyed, trying on sitting on the seats in front of the shoes trying shoes on. A member of M &S staff asked me to stand and try on so an elderly lady could sit down for a rest. I don't have a problem with giving up my seat, but do you know how difficult it is to stand and try on shoes? Why did they not find a seat for this lady or get one of the other three men sitting on the other three seats to stand, one of which was asleep and the other two not trying on shoes and sitting merrily chatting. I did actually purchase a pair also my sister purchased a pair. My sister has kidney failure and actually should have had a seat whilst she was trying on but again had to stand whilst people casually had a sit down. I think your staff need more training. Or you need more resting places for the elderly
