Aldi’s Guisborough store was officially opened

Aldi’s Guisborough is now officially open

Aldi’s Guisborough store was officially opened by scouts from Highcliffe Scout Group and Store Manager Charlotte Morrison on the morning of Thursday 9th October at 8am.

Aldi supported a number of community initiatives to celebrate the store opening. At the launch, three scout groups who were all part of the Highcliffe Scout Groups were presented with a cheque for £300, which was shared equally between them. Aldi will be donating products to a local mother and toddler group as well as a community Christmas Festival.

To celebrate the opening, Aldi provided a range of food samples for customers throughout the morning as well as offering an exclusive range of reduced ‘Specialbuys’ . Providing great savings and deals on household and electrical goods, the offers included a Multimedia Desktop PC (£279.99) and a 24 inch LED TV and DVD combo (£99.99). Aldi’s regular Specialbuys run every Thursday and Sunday.

The new store has created 31 new jobs for the local community and additional roles can be found online.

Aldi Store Manager, Charlotte Morrison, commented: “Today’s opening went very well, as demonstrated by the overwhelming community support we have received in the build up to and during the launch from the community.

“We look forward to our continuing involvement with the local groups in the area and hope the success of the store launch carries on into the future.”
